The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Parkin, the biggest supplier of paid public parking in Dubai, are working together to implement the sustainability project.
More charging options will be available with the installation of new EV charging stations in parking zones A and C, which are only for on-street parking.
In Q1 2025, DEWA and Parkin will install new charging stations to assist the electric vehicle future. These stations, which have a 22 kW x 2 capacity and run on alternating current (AC), will be positioned thoughtfully around Parkin's premium parking lots.
