According to its CEO, Archer Aviation, a US-based company that plans to introduce flying taxis in the United Arab Emirates, will start test flights in the summer to observe how the Midnight aircraft and its interior are affected by extremely high temperatures.
Archer's founder and CEO, Adam Goldstein, stated that prior to the full commercial launch, they will do survey flights with a small number of passengers and eventually begin flights in and around UAE cities.
According to him, Archer will send its first night pilot to Abu Dhabi during the summer and start flight testing with that aircraft there.
The 'Launch Edition' commercialization program for Archer Aviation's Midnight aircraft, which will be utilized as a flying taxi in the United Arab Emirates, was revealed last week. Archer's first "Launch Edition" customer is Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA), which intends to use an initial fleet of Midnight aircraft.
In order to target passenger flights in Abu Dhabi, Archer staff will now collaborate with Abu Dhabi Aviation to operate Midnight throughout the nation. Additionally, the two will work together on community involvement, flight operations, and pilot training.
