UAE citizens travelling through Zayed International Airport can now renew their Emirati passports on-site

According to a recent announcement by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, UAE nationals using Zayed International Airport can now renew their Emirati passports on-site if they have expired or if their validity is less than six months.

The Customer Happiness Center, which is open around-the-clock to guarantee a flawless travel experience and improve Zayed International Airport's standing as a top hub providing travelers with extensive services, is where the service is offered.

The new service, which has a ten-year validity period, enables citizens to renew their passports in less than five minutes, according to the government. UAE citizens whose passports are valid for fewer than six months are eligible for the service. This makes it possible for travelers to finish their processes fast, preventing delays and guaranteeing a seamless trip.

According to the administration, the passport renewal service is open 24/7, guaranteeing that citizens can get the help they need whenever they need it.

There are several electronic services available at the authority's office at Zayed International Airport, in addition to passport renewal. Information about visas and residency status, access to entrance and exit records, and changing traveler information are a few of these.
