SMS payment format for public parking users has been unified across all cities in Sharjah

Sharjah announced on Thursday, March 6, that the SMS payment method for public parking users has been standardized throughout the cities in the emirate. It was also announced by the Sharjah Municipality that Khor Fakkan no longer uses the city code 'KH'.

"It is part of the ongoing efforts to improve the public parking experience throughout Sharjah and provide a more seamless and efficient service," the local authority stated.

The parking system in Sharjah has undergone several modifications since the last quarter of 2024, including the addition of seven-day parking zones, a smart parking system, and parking fees in Kalba City and Al Dhaid.
