The "List" feature of WhatsApp, a messaging program owned by Meta, has been made available to UAE users.
WhatsApp users in UAE were notified early on Friday morning about the new feature that lets users create and plan talks. If users are fed up with having to search for certain chats, they may now group them into custom categories known as Lists.
To "get started," users simply hit the plus button on the filter bar at the top of the chats. "Make it simpler to locate the most crucial discussions. Filter your chats according to your preferences, whether they are with family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors," the notification said.
Once their list has been named, users can select which chats to include. One-on-one and group chats can be added to the lists using WhatsApp. To view all of their lists, users with numerous lists can use the filter bar's horizontal scroll.
Lists for particular chats, including those with family or coworkers, can be made and labeled by users. The messaging software will then show them next to the "All," "Unread," and "Groups" at the very top of your inbox. These functionalities were first made available by WhatsApp in early 2024.
In November of last year, WhatsApp began making the List feature available to its US users.
