A new service has been introduced by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to make renting premium cars easier. The "Takamul Permit" intends to enhance integration in the commercial transportation industry.
The service, according to Jamal Al Sadah, Director of Commercial Transport Activities at RTA's Licensing Agency, combines premium passenger transportation with Dubai's automobile rental industry.
Subject to certain rules and restrictions, this program enables end users—individuals, visitors, and locals—to rent a luxury vehicle with a driver for a maximum of one month.
He emphasized that the new program creates a thorough and adaptable regulatory framework to improve the vehicle rental industry in all areas.
Both the luxury transportation and vehicle rental businesses need to have a shared member on their commercial licenses in order to use the service. By going to RTA's website, logging in, and completing the application process, customers can apply for the permit.
