The sixth Dubai Labour Sports Tournament will feature 12 sports categories this year, the event beginning on September 15 across the emirate. Badminton, yoga, and the Smash Ball championship are among the events that are seeing a rise in participation this year from working women.
The winners of each event will also play each other in the Champions League in the future.
Over 46,000 male and female employees from 270 organisations are anticipated to take part in the event, which has as its theme "Making them happy is our goal."
The event, which is being organised by the Dubai Sports Council in association with the Federal Authority for Identity & Citizenship, Dubai Police, Permanent Committee of Labour Affairs in Dubai, Customs, and Port Security, will run until February 23, 2025.
