A new law has been passed in Dubai to stop the spread of infectious diseases. People who have an infectious disease or are suspected of having one must stay away from people who could transfer the sickness. They must not travel or relocate without the Dubai Health Authority's (DHA) consent, with the exception of medical facilities.
The law forbids hiding or disseminating illnesses, whether on purpose or accidentally, and was authorized by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE's vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai.
It requires people to abide by the rules set forth by the appropriate authorities and medical professionals in order to stop the spread of illness.
Travelers must report any suspected or confirmed communicable diseases, follow government health regulations, and supply requested information at Dubai's entrance ports. Following established protocols, they must also adhere to hygienic practices including mask wearing and physical distance.
By using evidence-based procedures and preventative actions that comply with national and international health standards, the law aims to reduce the health risks that affect people and communities in Dubai. In order to improve readiness and response to public health issues throughout the emirate, it encourages more coordination and cooperation at all levels.
