On Friday, the Dubai Esports & Games Festival (DEF) 2025 gets underway, bringing with it 17 days of exciting entertainment, pop culture, and inventiveness throughout the city.
The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) is organizing the event, which promises free-to-play gaming, influencer battles, and interactive activities for fans of all ages in addition to prizes totaling over Dh500,000.
DEF 2025 turns Dubai into a gaming and entertainment haven from May 9 to May 11, with a particular emphasis on GameExpo, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The weekend-long exhibition, which takes place in Zabeel Halls 2 and 3, will include eight interactive zones, exciting competitions, and influencer bouts with well-known local artists such Abo Flah. With awards up to Dh30,000, cosplayers will be the main attraction on the last day of the Dubai Cosplay Championship.
