Sheikh Zayed Festival 2024-2025 from November 1; more than 6,000 international cultural events, 1,000 shows and major public events

News EventThe Sheikh Zayed Festival 2024–2025, which celebrates the
UAE's legacy via a variety of entertainment and cultural activities, will be
held at Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi from November 1, 2024, until February 28, 2025.
The Festival is supported by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al
Nahyan and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the
Presidential Court, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
This year's Festival, with the subject "Hayakum" (Arabic for
Welcome), introduces a new vision and identity. It is overseen by Sheikh Sultan
bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates and
Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee.
The whole schedule of events and activities for this year's
Festival has been released by the Higher Organising Committee. According to the
organisation, in order to draw in millions of spectators, the next festival
will feature over 6,000 global cultural events, over 1,000 performances, and
significant public activities, in addition to over 30,000 exhibitors and
participants.
More than 27 nations are expected to participate in the
event, including several that will be attending for the first time in
designated areas and pavilions.
The "Union Parade," one of the main public events and major
productions of the Sheikh Zayed Festival 2024–2025, is a symbol of the unity
and strength of the UAE people in preserving the legacy and fundamental
national values set forth by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the
country's founding father.
