Second edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award was launched today; reward sum increased to Dh37 million

With the inauguration of the second edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award today, the UAE's Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE) is once again recognising exceptional employees and businesses in the nation. 

Following the success of the first edition's introduction last year, Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, announced the second edition's launch.

The government evaluated people and organisations that qualified for the 2023 edition by conducting 100 field visits and reviewing over 3,500 applications. A total of Dh9 million was given to the 66 winners of the first tournament. 

The reward sum has increased to Dh37 million this year, a greater than four-fold increase.
