School transport service from RTA witnesses great demand and popularity among customers

Since its launch at the beginning of April of this year, the school transport service offered by the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai and Careem through the e-hail service via the Careem application for students and pupils of educational institutions of all age groups has seen great demand and popularity among customers, recording a satisfaction rate of 4.84 out of a total of 5.

The service has conducted 25,500 flights since its launch in early April 2023, drawn 750 educational institutions to Dubai, and involved over 1,150 parents. About 3,500 cars, or 40% of all the vehicles accessible for e-booking on the Careem App, are deployed to handle this service from various Luxury cars firms.

The journey costs 34.5 percent less than the standard Careem limousine service. An average of 4.84 out of 5 stars were awarded for the service.

This service is a new addition to the traditional school transport system. It has a number of unique features, such as the use of drivers who have a clean driving record and who have received specialised training to ensure high standards in the professional transport of children to and from school. A minimum of 4.8 is required for the average driver rating, children under ten years old cannot be carried without the presence of an adult, and in 2024, the option of an attendant will be available.
