Residents in Dubai can now report any crime or wrong doing at the nearby petrol station

Residents in Dubai may report any kind of crime at any local gas station. It is no longer necessary to visit a police station to report an incident and receive prompt assistance from the authorities, thanks to the efforts of Dubai Police. In order to launch a new service dubbed On-the-Go, Dubai Police has partnered with petrol firms such as Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Emarat. With the convenience of this cutting-edge technology, anybody may simply report problems and help improve security measures. The goal of this effort, according to Dubai Police, is to guarantee everyone's safety.

Head of the On-the-Go initiative First Lieutenant Majid bin Saed Al Kaabi noted that this programme, which offers police services at gas stations, is the first of its type in the world. Al Kaabi continued, "The services are offered at 138 petrol stations throughout Dubai, and 4,867 employees from 11 organisations have received training to help customers." Enoc, Adnoc, Emarat, Emirates Transport, Dubai Taxi Corporation, First Security Group, Ward Security, Aman Security Training, Transguard Group, International Centre for Security and Safety, and Emirates Auctions are some of these organisations.

As part of the 'Police Eye' project, police services have been extended to fuel stations. The public was able to report crimes with the introduction of "Police Eye" a few years ago, which was available through the Dubai Police app, website, and police stations. More than 108,100 tips and pieces of information on a variety of topics, such as traffic infractions, abuse of women and children, human trafficking, illicit drug usage, and other infractions, have been sent to Dubai Police during the previous five years. "Police Eye" is also used for reporting e-crimes, traffic accidents, frauds, missing people, and tips received from overseas, especially about illegal substances. The "Police Eye" app or phoning 901 are two ways that Dubai Police urge the public to report any infractions related to road safety.
