Parkin Company secures deal of 7,000 parking spaces across Dubai; six key neighbourhoods will soon have more paid parking spaces

Residents of six prominent Dubai districts will soon have access to extra premium parking places, but the cost will be higher. The Parkin Company has landed a contract to run and oversee more than 7,000 parking spots around Dubai following a triumphant IPO. 

A total of 7,456 parking spots will be operated, managed, and enforced by Parkin under the terms of the four-year deal. Parkin will also have the exclusive authority to impose penalties on non-compliant drivers.

Civil work such as the installation of parking metres, signs, road markings, and bollards as necessary will be part of the implementation phase. By the end of the next month, it is anticipated that these areas will be fully managed, operated, and enforced.

The new parking lots owned by the developer will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
