A new installment service for litigation costs, notary services, and legal expenses has been implemented in the emirate by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD). Abu Dhabi Courts is the first in the region to provide such flexible financing options in collaboration with banks and financial organizations thanks to this creative plan, which is a component of ADJD's continuous efforts to enhance the court fee payment system.
The new service shows the department's dedication to facilitating simpler access to justice by streamlining processes and reducing litigants' financial obligations, according to Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the ADJD.
The program is also in line with ADJD's objectives of improving judicial services and boosting Abu Dhabi's economic and legal rivalry.
The new service allows litigants to pay for expert consultations, court fees, legal charges, notary services, and enforcement-related expenditures in reasonable monthly installments.
These services will be fully funded by financial institutions who cooperate with ADJD, enabling borrowers to pay back the debt over a maximum of 12 months. The conditions of the contract with the bank or financial institution will determine whether the payments are interest-free or have a small amount of interest.
By making judicial services more accessible, this flexible payment option will help Abu Dhabi realize its goal of creating a vibrant, business-friendly legal environment.
