Local and international companies and brands now have the opportunity to have petrol stations named after them

NewsWith the introduction of Emarat's "Project Landmark," local and international businesses and brands now have the chance to have petrol stations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates named after them.
The Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, or Emarat, unveiled a marketing plan on Saturday that will enable businesses “to integrate their business models within the service stations.” A business or brand "obtains the exclusive right to name a venue, building, or facility by paying royalty" in exchange for naming rights, which are a type of advertising. An excellent illustration of this is the Dubai Metro, where a number of stations have the names of national and international corporations, such as Danube, Emirates, Onpassive, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and UAE Exchange. 139 service stations are part of Emarat's network that spans Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
"Project Landmark provides an innovative business platform for companies to reach customers and deliver valuable services that meet the high standards of excellence set by the UAE," stated Eng. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Director General of Emarat.
