Intersection at Al Meydan and Al Khail turned into a unique artwork combining elements of nature with specially chosen ornamental plants

NewsAs part of Dubai's city beautification initiative, the intersection of Al Meydan and Al Khail Street has been landscaped with grass, flowers, and Chorisia trees. This artwork, which spans more than 300,000 square metres, was motivated by the patterns found in horse hoof impressions.
The crossroads has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind piece of art that blends natural features with carefully selected decorative plants. Dubai Municipality (DM) has enhanced the city's visual attractiveness by introducing a variety of evergreen tree species into the environment.
Chorisia trees are being planted in the emirate, for the first time. This tree, which belongs in the mallow family, has a wide, enlarged stem that collects water. Large pink-red blossoms are another highlight. Because of its beauty, it is a common option to be planted beside roadways all around the world.
According to Dubai Municipality Director General Dawoud Al Hajri, expanding Dubai's green space is essential to the emirate's environmental sustainability initiatives. It is anticipated that these endeavours would augment Dubai's allure and visual allure while guaranteeing the most elevated living conditions for its inhabitants.
