NewsThe Hamel Al Ghaith Mosque in Barsha Heights has been humming with activity for the past three days as more than 2,000 iftar packs are given out every day to both Muslim and non-Muslim inhabitants of Dubai. A variety of delectable and nourishing products, such as fruit, fresh salad, and mandi, a classic rice dish with meat, are included in the iftar box. Nutrient-rich beans are included in the package to help balance the diet. A delicious dessert is also offered to sate everyone's sweet taste.
Everyone is given water and dates to break their fast. The iftar package is completed with a dish of laban, a chilled and comforting yoghurt drink.
The volunteers tidy up the space right away following the iftar to provide room for the faithful before the Isha and Taraweeh prayers.
