Emirates has introduced many new flights and updates to existing ones in 2024 for the pleasure of travellers

New flights have been introduced by Dubai airlines. The most recent announcements included service extension to Brazil and Argentina as well as updates to the flights to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Announced on Wednesday, February 21, a brand-new route for 2024 is a new daily service from Dubai to the capital city of Bogata, Colombia, starting on Monday, June 3. 

 

The new Emirates flights for 2024 are listed below.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Commencing on May 1, Emirates is resuming its daily service from Dubai to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Through Singapore, the flight will link the two cities. 

The Boeing 777-300ER will be the aircraft utilised for this particular operation. 

The Emirates aircraft EK348 is scheduled to take off from Dubai at 2.30 am and land in Singapore at 2:05 pm. The aircraft is scheduled to depart Singapore at 3:35 pm and land in Phnom Penh at 4:35 pm. Returned flight EK349 from Emirates is scheduled to depart Phnom Penh at 8:50 p.m. and arrive in Singapore at 11:50 p.m. The next day, the aircraft will depart Singapore at 1.40 am and arrive in Dubai at 4.55 am. Every time is local. 

Emirates will begin offering four daily flights to Singapore via this new route on May 1.

 

Osaka

Beginning on June 1, Emirates will operate an A380 equipped with Premium Economy on the Dubai-Osaka route. It will take the place of the existing Boeing 777-300ER fleet. 

The interiors of the First, Business, and Economy Class cabins will also be updated. 

Emirates will provide 910 more weekly seats between Dubai International Airport and Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka as a result of the improved A380 operations. 

Emirates' four-class A380, which is being deployed to Osaka, has 338 ergonomically built Economy Class seats, 56 lie-flat Business Class seats, 14 First Class suites, and 56 Premium Economy Class seats. 

The 56 seats in the Premium Economy cabin on an Emirates A380 with four classes are arranged in a 2-4-2 layout near the front of the main deck.

 

Vienna

The A380 planes, which are presently flown by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, will travel as EK 127 and EK 128 from Dubai to the Austrian capital and return between February 21 and March 30. Emirates' EK127 plane is scheduled to depart Dubai at 08.55 am and land in Vienna at 12.25 pm. EK128 will depart Vienna at 3.10 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 11.40 p.m. on the return trip. 

The sole airline using the two-deck A380 to service Vienna Airport will be Emirates. With a B777-300 ER, the evening flights EK 126 and EK 125 will continue to operate regularly.

 

Seoul

New flights will begin operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as EK324/EK325 as of February 19. 

Emirates flight EK324 (operated by a Boeing 777-300ER) is scheduled to take off from Dubai at 4.45 am and arrive at Seoul Incheon International Airport at 6.05 pm. EK325 will take off from Seoul at 10 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 3.15 a.m. the next day. 

As of now, runs a daily Airbus A380 flight out of Dubai. The airline will provide 10 weekly flights to Seoul with the new services.

 

Melbourne

Beginning on Thursday, February 1, Emirates will provide a second Premium Economy route between Melbourne and Dubai. 

The operating codes for this new flight will be EK408 and EK409. 

As a result of the most recent development, Emirates will provide around 800 Premium Economy seats between the two cities each week. 

There are currently 63 flights from and to Australia offered by Emirates.

 

Rio de Janeiro 

Emirates is expanding its route network to include five weekly flights to Rio de Janeiro.

The extra aircraft will depart on Saturday, December 7.

 

Buenos Aires

Travellers will also be able to continue their journey to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, via the connected service. 

The new weekly flights, designated EK247 and EK248, will travel between Dubai, Brazil, and Argentina. Tickets are currently available for purchase. 

There will be 302 seats available in both business and economy class on each of the new flights starting in December. 

 

Brisbane

Emirates' A380 aircraft EK430 to Brisbane is scheduled to depart Dubai at 2.30 am on October 1 and arrive in Brisbane at 10:20 pm. Returning to Brisbane at 1.55 am, Emirates aircraft EK431 is scheduled to arrive in Dubai at 10:05 am. Currently, Boeing 777-300ER aircraft are used in this area.

 

Perth

There will be an additional daily flight between Perth and Dubai starting on December 1st of this year. A Boeing 777-300ER will be used to fly this route. 

Emirates flight EK424 will depart Dubai on December 1 at 9.15 am and land in Perth at 12.05 am the following day. Returning from Perth, Emirates aircraft EK425 is scheduled to arrive in Dubai around 1.10 pm.

 

Adelaide 

This year, Emirates is resuming flights between Adelaide and Dubai. 

The daily journey will begin on Monday October 28.

With this new route, Emirates will have 77 weekly flights from Australia by December 1, when it resumes its second daily trip to Perth. 

There will be 14 tonnes of cargo capacity available on each aircraft to Adelaide, for a weekly total of 196 tonnes. 

With 302 seats each trip, the Adelaide service will operate daily on a Boeing 777-200LR. 

Emirates' EK440 is scheduled to arrive in Adelaide at 8.50pm, having left Dubai at 2am. Emirates' return flight, EK441, is scheduled to arrive in Dubai at 5.15am, having left Adelaide at 10.35pm.

 

Colombia 

On Monday, June 3, Emirates will begin a new daily route from Dubai to the capital of Colombia. 

With its debut in Bogotá, Emirates will add four new South American destinations to its network, enhancing its existing scheduled connections to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. 

Daily flights will use Miami to connect Dubai and Bogotá. 

Due to immigration processes in Miami, passengers on flights operating in both directions between Dubai and Bogotá should be in compliance with US entry restrictions and possess the necessary documentation. Citizens of Colombia and the United Arab Emirates are able to enter both cities without a visa for a maximum of ninety days, respectively, because of reciprocal visa agreements.
