Emirates Group announced a four per cent increase basic salary and other benefits for its employees

Dubai’s Emirates Airlines has revealed a plethora of new benefits and a pay rise for staff members starting on Monday, July 1. Emirates is increasing base pay by 4% as well as the transport and UAE national retention allowances for its staff.

All personnel will have a rise in their housing allowance of between 10 and 15 percent, while flight deck and cabin crew will also see a four percent raise in flying and productivity pay.

The benefits and pay increase were announced in the wake of Emirates' stellar fiscal year, in which the company generated a record-breaking Dhs18.7 billion in profit in 2023–2024.

Along with financial benefits, Emirates employees will also receive double the amount of paid maternity leave (from 60 to 90 days) and double the amount of paid paternity leave (5 to 10 days).

Workers in grades one through five will no longer be required to pay a portion of the life insurance payment because the firm will now cover the entire cost. For workers in specific grades, long-term sick leave will also be extended starting from Sunday, September 1.
