Emirates airline has announced that it will ramp up its operations in Australia

Emirates Airlines has declared that it will expand its presence in Australia. Beginning on October 1, the airline will convert its second daily flight, EK430/431, from Dubai to Brisbane to an A380. Beginning on December 1, a second daily flight, using a Boeing 777-300ER, will run between Dubai and Perth.

The second A380 flight, EK430, is scheduled to take off from Dubai at 2.30 am and land in Brisbane at 10.20 pm on October 1. Arriving in Dubai at 10.05 am, the return flight EK431 will leave Brisbane at 1.55 am. (Times are all local.)

One of Emirates' Boeing 777-300ERs will fly the extra route to Perth. Emirates flight EK424 will start operating on December 1 at 9.15 am and land in Perth at 12.05 am the following day. The return flight EK425 is scheduled to arrive in Dubai at 1.10 pm, having left Perth at 6 am.

The airline will add 6,900 seats to its weekly capacity to Australia with these enhanced trips.

More connection to Emirates' global gateways will be made possible with the establishment of a second daily route between Dubai and Perth.

With 63 weekly flights to Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne, Emirates now provides service to Australia. 56,000 passengers are transported to and from these main cities each week by a combination of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. In addition to the two daily four-class A380 trips to Sydney, the airline has just announced that it would be tripling its Premium Economy capacity on flights to Melbourne beginning on February 1.
