The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai runs eight daily trips to Sharjah, between Monday through Thursday and it runs six trips between Friday and Sunday. Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai and Aquarium Marine Station in Sharjah are the destinations of this ferry service from Dubai to Sharjah. The trip takes around thirty-five minutes.
The maritime transit line originally introduced in 2019, is an excellent means of avoiding traffic on roads. The COVID-19 epidemic caused the Dubai to Sharjah ferry to be suspended, which resumed its services again in August 2023.
