Dubai schools to have teachers qualified in artificial intelligence

The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced on Wednesday the start of a project to educate instructors in the emirate on artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications.

At the next AI Retreat in April 2025, the top 10 educators who successfully incorporate AI into their lesson plans will be rewarded with prizes totaling Dh1 million.

The latest Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI) is in accordance with the programme.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence will work together to administer the initiative. 

The greatest training available will be provided to educators in Dubai on how to automate chores and customise learning experiences by integrating AI technologies and employing sophisticated apps. The extensive plan will incorporate online and practical instruction a with frequent examinations to guarantee better results.
