Dubai Mall received a record 105 million visitors in 2023; 19 per cent rise from the previous years 88 million

Dubai Mall said on Tuesday that it saw a record 105 million visitors in 2023—a rise of more than 19% from the 88 million visits in the year prior. According to a statement from the mall, record numbers in 2023 made it the most visited destination in the world.

Incredibly, 20 million people visited the mall in just the first two months of this year, according to new data the mall provided on Tuesday. 2024 is predicted to be another record-breaking year.

The mall's foot traffic during important holidays and international festivals in 2023 and early 2024 was significantly influenced by its events and promotions. The mall's capacity to attract and engage large people was further shown by notable events including the highly regarded 3 Day Super Sale, the Dubai Food Festival, and the Dubai Shopping Festival. 

The mall's online presence has grown dramatically; as of right now, it has 1.3 million Instagram followers. The mall's average customer satisfaction score was 4.6, which is indicative of thousands of satisfied patrons. 

With 1.2 million square metres, Dubai Mall is the second-largest retail centre in the world, being opened in 2008. In addition to more than 200 foreign eating options, it boasts more than 1,200 retail locations, including Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale's, two major department shops.
