Dubai Land Department signed deal with nine private and government-backed developers to allocate a certain quota of their projects to be sold through Emirati

In an effort to increase employment prospects for locals, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) said on Sunday that it has reached an agreement with nine developers, both private and government-backed, to sell a certain portion of their properties through Emirati brokers. The regulator stated that the goal is to "allocate a 10 per cent to 15 per cent quota of their projects to be sold through Emirati brokers" in an agreement signed with Emaar Properties, Expo Dubai, Deyaar, Damac Properties, Azizi Developments, MAG, Sobha Realty, Ellington Properties, and Al Bait Al Duwaliy Real Estate Development.

In order to help local talent progress in the real estate industry, the agreement was inked as part of the "Dubai Real Estate Programme." Furthermore, the agreement calls for offering direction, expert instruction, and assistance to national talent in order to draw them into the private sector and develop their specialist abilities in order to launch real estate ventures.

Following the epidemic, Dubai's real estate market saw tremendous expansion, which led to the creation of many professions in the brokerage industry. Following COVID-19, thousands of brokerage firms were founded as the real estate market saw previously unheard-of demand from both domestic and foreign investors.
