Dubai has created the worlds first electric abra, made from 3D-printing, now sailing at Dubai Creek

NewsThe world's first electric abra was built in Dubai using 3D printing technology. The RTA has started the novel new form of transportation's trial run, and it's currently sailing in Dubai Creek. Though it has some far more contemporary features, the Abra, which can accommodate up to 20 passengers, looks a lot like the ancient, historic boats.
Upgrading the conventional abra stations in Dubai Creek is another project that the RTA is working on.
Every year, 14 million passengers use these stations, and the renovation should improve security and safety at each one.
Project completion is targeted for 2025, and it involves a comprehensive renovation of four aging stations, including Deira Old Souq Station and Bur Dubai Marine Transport Station.
