Dubai Culture to work with Khalifa University of Science and Technology on archaeological excavations in Dubai

Khalifa University of Science and Technology and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) have an agreement to collaborate on archaeological digs in Dubai. 

This implies that in order to locate buried buildings, tombs, or other remains at two significant sites—Saruq Al Hadid and Al Ashoosh—they will pool their knowledge and employ cutting-edge technology, such as remote-sensing satellites. Scientists at Khalifa University have developed geophysical survey techniques, which will be particularly important to the partnership.

Additionally, sophisticated processing methods for findings will be used. This will make it possible for researchers to model characteristics in three dimensions and situate them in relation to their environmental and archaeological settings.
