Digital stamp feature for vehicle and driver licencing has been activated on the ministry's digital channels

Through the ministry's digital channels, the Ministry of Interior has announced the activation of the digital stamp feature for driver licencing and car services via the digital identification (UAE Pass).

"We have initiated the first rollout of digital services requiring the use of the stamp in alignment with the directives of the country's wise leadership to enhance government services and customer experience," said Brigadier Engineer Hussein Al Harithi, the ministry's Director-General of Smart Services and Digital Security.

Customers no longer need to visit service facilities as the ministry digitally certifies licencing certificates for cars and drivers by using the digital stamp function through digital ID. Services will be rolled out in the future, streamlining processes, enhancing security, and saving users' time and effort.

Al Harithi stressed the value of the digital stamp, which offers a trustworthy and authorised digitally signed document with validity that is available from any location at any time. This guarantees a great customer experience by ensuring the ongoing supply of dependable and integrated digital government services. He emphasised the ministry's commitment to building a cutting-edge digital infrastructure and aggressively offering a range of digital services through these efforts.
