Crown Prince of Dubai launched a new logo for Government of Dubai on Sunday

During the executive council's first meeting after its recent reconstitution, Dubai's Crown Prince unveiled the new emblem for the Government of Dubai. He oversaw the new logo's instant adoption by all Dubai government agencies. Entities will keep their own logos in addition to implementing the new one to represent their uniqueness.

A six-month transition time will be given to the government agencies to use the new emblem.

Additionally, Dh40 billion was allotted by the leader for the 2024–2026 "Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership." Additionally, he gave his approval to Dubai's "Affordable Housing Policy" and the "Dubai Sandbox" initiative, which in its first phase would assist 100 digital enterprises.

"We have revitalised Dubai’s iconic old emblem and adopted it as the new logo for the Government of Dubai. The new logo symbolises the emirate's visionary leadership, transformative development journey and evolution into a city of the future," stated Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and head of the Executive Council of Dubai.

The "Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership" received Dh40 billion in approval from the Dubai Executive Council. The portfolio, which is under the Department of Finance's supervision via the Dubai Digital Platforms, is in keeping with the goals stated in the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33. By 2033, the government wants to spend Dh700 billion, the private sector wants to invest Dh1 trillion in development projects, and foreign direct investment wants to reach Dh650 billion.

The objectives of Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan, which seeks to promote lively and healthy communities by offering a variety of employment possibilities and attending to housing needs, are in line with the "Affordable Housing Policy." This programme will provide a variety of housing alternatives that are appropriate for people of all economic levels, therefore catering to different elements of society. It will also make it easier to build new housing for employees nearer to their places of employment, improving the standard of these establishments and guaranteeing that everyone in society will have access to sufficient services. The Dubai Municipality, the Roads and Transport Authority, the Dubai Land Department, and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority are among the organisations that are involved in carrying out the strategy.

Through the promotion of an entrepreneurial culture and the facilitation of finance access, the "Dubai Sandbox" project seeks to promote the growth of start-ups established in Dubai, particularly in the technology and developing industries. By connecting with the global innovation ecosystem, it also aims to make an influence on a worldwide scale. The project fits with the D33 agenda's objective of making Dubai a premier innovation hub. It is a part of the first package of 100 transformative initiatives of D33, which aims to double the emirate's GDP over the next ten years and place Dubai as one of the top three city economies in the world. This covers fields including health technology, artificial intelligence, real estate technology, and green technologies that try to combat climate change.
