WO-RK at Burjuman Metro Station is a vibrant workspace that
provides commuters with an office within one of Dubai's busiest metro stations.
Rates for commuters to work remotely start at Dh35 per day. WO-RK, the public
workspace, partnered with the Roads and Transport Authority Dubai (RTA) to open
for business on Tuesday, June 25.
According to Shahzad Bhatti, the founder of The Co-Spaces,
there is now a promotion with standard rates: a day pass for Dh35, a part-time
membership for Dh200 per month (allowing 30 hours of usage per month), and a
full-time membership for Dh650 per month with unlimited hours. There's also a
pantry in the area with free water and coffee. The area can accommodate 100 persons in chairs and is
available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Situated in the Dubai Metro network of the RTA, WO-RK
@Burjuman Metro offers easy access to people. It provides last-mile transportation
options and eliminates the requirement for driving a car.
Bhatti added that consumers will have an extra and an
alternate option for their work in the refurbished workspace. The area is available for employees and students at a reasonable price and has
no age restrictions.
RTA aims to fulfill its strategic objectives in line with
Dubai Urban Plan 2040 with the opening of the co-working space within Burjuman
Metro Station. By promoting greater integration and accessibility, this
strategy seeks to establish Dubai as the best place in the world to live.
Members have the option to reserve private offices,
conference rooms, or open-plan spaces based on their need at the 4,000 square
foot WO-RK @Burjuman Metro. Establishing a flexible and adaptive work
environment that actively promotes a good work/life balance for all members is
the main objective.
