Commuters may help create and recommend new bus and maritime service routes that are customised to their requirements by using the S'hail app. Voting is available for suggested routes as well as brand-new ones. By considering your suggestions, RTA will be able to determine if it is feasible to build more bus stops or marine stations, thereby enhancing the availability of public transport in Dub

Download the S’hail App:

Get the S'hail app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. It is simple to install and is free. 

Launch the App:

Open the S’hail app on your device and locate and hit the "More" button at the bottom of your screen. 

Get to the 'Recommend a Route' function: 

To start suggesting or voting on routes, scroll through the options and choose "Suggest a Route." 

Choose the Type of Route You Want to Take: 

Tapping on the relevant option will allow you to select between bus and sea routes. This enables you to concentrate on the particular mode of transportation that piques your interest. 

Engage in Voting or Making Suggestions: 

Here, you have two options: either vote on the routes that other people have previously suggested, or make an entirely new suggestion. 

Make Your Unique Route: 

Make use of the interactive map feature to recommend a new path. Drag the blue pin to your intended destination and the red pin to where you want to start. It's simple to determine the precise start and finish points of the new route with this visual tool.

Give More Information: 

You will be asked a few questions to assist the RTA in better understanding your needs after you have picked your route: 

• Frequency of use: Please indicate how frequently you would take the suggested route. 
• Journey Enhancement: Indicate whether taking this route will improve your trip experience from beginning to finish or from both. 
• Person of Determination: If you are a Person of Determination, inform the RTA so that they can adjust the route accordingly.

Send in your recommendation: 

After completing all the required fields, click "Continue" to send the RTA your recommendation. The S'hail app will then allow other users to vote on your suggested route. 

Your travel and the city's transport system might change and become more effective if your idea is adopted and receives enough support.
