Visit visa holders from India to the UAE urged to book their roundtrip tickets on the same airline

Travel agents advised visit visa holders traveling from India to the United Arab Emirates to purchase round-trip tickets on the same flight, citing warnings from certain airlines. It was alleged that some passengers couldn't go to the UAE because they had tickets on a different airline for their return trip to India.

The ticket alert follows reports that more stringent security measures were implemented at Dubai airports. Travel agents said that several travelers were forced to return home due to not fulfilling specific standards.

Travel agents are recommending their clients to make sure they have all the required documentation before departing because of these more stringent inspections.

The strict guidelines ensured by the authorities are that visitors with visit visas for Dubai must  have Dh3,000 in cash, a valid return ticket, and evidence of accommodation, before boarding a flight to the emirate.
