TIP and Abu Dhabi City Municipality partnered for a tree-planting initiative to promote sustainability and environmental protection

A partnership between Tadweer, the Abu Dhabi Municipality, and Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP) has resulted in the planting of 300 Ghaf trees surrounding TIP. The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee was in charge of organising the event. To encourage sustainability and environmental preservation, TIP and Abu Dhabi City Municipality are collaborating on a tree-planting project. The Tawazun Council and TIP staff are spearheading the initiative, which intends to plant 300 Ghaf trees.

The Ghaf tree's significance and the procedures involved in planting it were the subject of an awareness session that Abu Dhabi City Municipality arranged for TIP staff members and Tawazun Council members before the ceremony.

Abu Dhabi City Municipality made sure that to carry out such important projects, it worked closely with its many strategic partners as part of its ongoing support for such cooperative events. The municipality prioritizes growing agriculture and protecting the climate with native plants and trees, all the while keeping up with advances in culture and architecture.

In addition to working with Tadweer to achieve agricultural sustainability through the disposal and recycling of agricultural waste produced by the initiative, TIP partnered with Emirates Global Motor Electric (EGME) to provide sustainable transportation, in the form of electric buses, to the employees who took part in the planting event.
