Nature emirate Ras Al Khaimah has plans to double its hotel inventory over the next few years

NewsAccording to a senior official, the nature emirate of Ras Al Khaimah intends to double the number of hotels it has in the next coming years. At the moment, the emirate boasts 8,000 rooms and suites from international chains, including Ritz-Carlton, Movenpick, Hilton, Accor, Radisson, Rixos, and Rotana. A roughly 100% increase in rooms will be made available by hotel chains including Wynn, Nobu, Marriott, Sofitel, and Anantara to accommodate "everyone from leisure travellers and families to couples and adventure seekers."
The Jebel Jais, the tallest peak in the United Arab Emirates, is the most well-known location in Ras Al Khaimah, and officials intend to increase this "nature-driven offering." The longest zipline in the world, a 5-kilometer stretch of six ziplines, and the largest toboggan ride in the area are just a few of the attractions that the Jais Adventure Park offers. The highest restaurant in the United Arab Emirates, 1484 by Puro, is located atop the mountain.
Seventy opulent hotels under the new sustainable lodging option Saij will provide a “pure mountain retreat with guided treks, mindful pursuits and creative experiences”. The approval of a new unified GCC tourist visa by all Gulf nations would contribute to the emirate's realisation of its "ultimate aim" of hosting three million tourists yearly by 2030.
The visa will undoubtedly increase tourism in the area and make it easier for visitors to visit all six of the Gulf's member states.
