NewsThe deadline for private sector companies with 50 employees or more to achieve their half-yearly Emiratisation targets, set at one per cent of skilled jobs, is June 30, as reminded by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) on Wednesday
Companies who do not comply will be subject to sanctions starting in July 2023 for failing to meet the 2022 objectives as well as the mandatory half-yearly rate.
This is consistent with the revision of parts of the Cabinet Resolution No. (19/5m) of 2022's stipulations addressing the method of meeting annual Emiratization growth objectives. Before the end of June, it is required to boost emiratization by 1%, and before the year's end, it is necessary to increase emiratization by 2%.

She urged private sector businesses to take use of the assistance offered by Nafis to employ Emirati individuals in qualified positions.
