Candidates can now register to join the Abu Dhabi’s coding school’s boot camp ‘Piscine’ starting on February 5

Candidates may now apply and enrol in the 'Piscine' boot camp offered by Abu Dhabi's creative and disruptive coding school. The boot camp begins on February 5. After completing this rigorous 25-day boot camp, students will have the opportunity to enrol in the tuition-free coding school, which employs a novel peer-to-peer and gamified learning approach.

By enrolling at 42 Abu Dhabi, students will have access to the school's network of strategic partners, which includes top businesses and organisations in a variety of fields and industries, including Microsoft, Beacon Red, Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, Department of Government Enablement, and Mubadala Investment Company. 42 Abu Dhabi offers sponsorship possibilities to Emirati talent through its strategic network of partners. Additionally, every UAE native who joins 42 Abu Dhabi is given a stipend. All students can obtain a software development diploma approved by the National Qualification Centre (NQC) in the United Arab Emirates by completing the school's Common Core, four extra modules, and a six-month internship.

42 Abu Dhabi has enrolled 758 students since its inception, 213 of whom are Emiratis.

The Piscine, which comes from the French term for "swimming pool," assesses applicants' motivation, tenacity, and dedication to computer programming.

If interested in attending the camp, prospective applicants can visit 42 Abu Dhabi's official website. There, they will need to fill out an online pre-selection "Game" that tests their cognitive ability using logic and memory tests, as well as attend an in-person check-in discovery session where they will be given an overview of the Piscine and the teaching methodology. Upon passing the Piscine, candidates will get access to 42 Abu Dhabi's coding programme.

Applying to 42 Abu Dhabi does not need any prior coding experience or academic background, but applicants must be at least 18 years old and have the natural ability to adapt and work with others.

In 2020, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) started the coding school. Go to www.42AbuDhabi.ae to apply and for more details.
