A replica of the Topkapi Quran, which dates to the early to mid-8th century of the Gregorian calendar and the second century of the Islamic Hijri calendar, has arrived in the United Arab Emirates for the 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF).

According to Taha Zahid Ozdemir of the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art, and Culture (IRCICA), Turkey, this document, which is customarily attributed to Uthman Ibn Affan (656 AD), a member of the third caliphate, is kept at the Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul, Turkey.

The written version of the Quran, known as the Topkapı Mushaf, was composed in an advanced Kufic script, according to an examination of the manuscript.
