News EventTurkey, Qatar, and India have been named the special guests of the 2024 World Government Summit, which will be held in Dubai on February 12–14. More than 25 leaders of state and government will also be present at the summit, which has as its subject "Shaping Future Governments."
India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will lead the high-level delegations of the three visiting nations.
During the summit, which will bring together thought leaders, experts, and representatives of over 85 international and regional organisations with 120 governmental delegations and 4,000 attendees, the guest countries will highlight their successful government experiences and best developmental practices.
The fact that India, Qatar, and Turkey are this year's honoured guests highlights their long-standing relationship and strategic alliance with the United Arab Emirates, according to Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the WGS Organisation, Mohammed Al Gergawi.
This year's WGS has six topics and fifteen international forums with 110 interactive discussions that will examine future strategies and significant changes in important sectors. Along with 23 ministerial meetings and executive sessions hosting over 300 ministers, over 200 notable speakers—presidents, ministers, and visionaries—will offer their thoughts.
