The public will be able to visit a massive facility that specializes in Indian products by the end of 2026. With more than 2.7 million square feet of retail, showroom, and warehouse space, Bharat Mart will be situated in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) and contribute to the "redefinition" of the way Indian goods are distributed throughout Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia.
As Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrapped up his first formal trip to India in an effort to deepen relations between the two nations, the statement was made.
The purpose of Bharat Mart, a business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketplace in Dubai, is to promote trade between Indian companies and international markets.
With a total area of 2.7 million square feet, including 1.3 million square feet in its first phase, Bharat Mart will be a commercial center for Indian MSMEs. With a prime location in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), the complex will have 1,500 showrooms and more than 700,000 square feet of modern warehouse space, light industrial units, offices, and meeting rooms. Women-led companies will also have a special place at Bharat Mart.
Bharat Mart promises to give Indian firms access to a multimodal logistics network because it is conveniently located near Jebel Ali Port (only 11 km away), Al Maktoum International Airport (15 km away), and Etihad Rail.
The exporters would have access to 150 maritime destinations and more than 300 cities globally through Jebel Ali's ecosystem, which will increase market reach and efficiency.
