This winter, the Dubai Safari Park will extend its hours so that guests can enjoy the attraction at night. As the night grows darker, visitors in the evening will be able to see how the animals' behavior changes. The predatory instincts of animals conditioned for nocturnal hunting will sharpen, the park's lions will roar more, and the typically elusive pygmy hippos will be more active.
The 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. night safari hours will only be available from December 13 to January 12. Beginning on December 11, tickets will be available for purchase on the park's website.
Two evening safaris with wildlife guides will be part of the additional hours. According to the park's management, visitors can "expect to catch" a peek of the nighttime patterns of over 90 species in addition to "participating in interactive activities involving animals." Live acts will take place at the safari, such as a neon display and an African fire show.
