The 42nd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair commences on November 1

News EventThe 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) will begin on November 1, including almost 1.5 million titles at reduced rates. Over 108 nations' worth of creators, publishers, distributors, translators, and bibliophiles will come together for a 12-day festival at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
With the theme 'We Speak Books,' the fair will provide guests with an exceptional chance to discover books from around the globe, interact with their favourite writers, and partake in a range of cultural events. As the honoured guest this year, South Korea will be highlighted for both its modern accomplishments and rich cultural history. In Sharjah, almost 2,000 publishers will showcase their innovative and creative works as representatives of their home countries. The expo will provide a range of experiences to attendees over the following twelve days.
Scholar and poet Khaled Al Badou, writer Dr. Mashael Al Nabooda, writer Adel Khozam, writer Mohammed Al Jokar, researcher and writer Suad Al Araimi, writer Fathia Al Nimr, writer Dr. Aisha Al Ghais, writer Saeed Al Badi, and other Emiratis are among the many Emirati guests who will grace SIBF 2023.
