The municipality of Sharjah announced on Sunday that smart paid parking services are now accessible in the city.
When drivers enter the parking lot, their number plates are automatically identified using artificial intelligence. Motorists can then pay for parking using the Mawqef application. Payments can be made via e-wallet or credit card.
Aside from hourly rates, paid parking can be reserved for periods ranging from one day to one year, with motorists also having the option of paying for a week or a month.
