Sharjah announced new timings of operation for government agencies, institutes, and bodies for Ramadan

The Sharjah government has declared the new schedule for the holy month of Ramadan. The official hours of operation for government agencies, institutes, and bodies were declared by the Human Resources Authority in Sharjah.

Ramadan is expected to start on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, based on the Hijri calendar released by the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD).

Employees in the public sector will have to report to work between 9 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. during the holy month of Ramadan.

Both employees who are fasting and those who are not will be able to participate in spiritual events and cultural traditions throughout this holy month thanks to the working hours.

Federal employees' official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan were established by a circular published by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).
