Dubai’s RTA opened two new footbridges on Ras Al Khor Road as part of a broader initiative to construct seven footbridges

As previously stated in 2023, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has inaugurated two new footbridges on Ras Al Khor Road as part of a larger effort to build seven footbridges. The two bridges' inaugurations demonstrate RTA's dedication to improving pedestrian safety and traffic safety. Both of the bridges have eye-catching designs and are equipped with advanced electromechanical systems, alarms, fire suppression, remote monitoring, and bike racks.

Ras Al Khor Industrial Area and Creek Harbour are connected by the first bridge. In the first half, it is 3.4 metres broad and 174 metres long; in the second, it measures 4.1 metres. It has two 120-meter-long ramps that are 1.9 metres wide for cycling and climbs 6.5 metres above the surface.
