DHA currently provides a total of 77 smart services across its diverse platforms

In the first half of 2023, Dubai Health Authority (DHA) offered smart services to over 800,000 people, demonstrating the strength of the city's healthcare system. Health tourism, health insurance, medical committee services, overseas treatment services, health offices, public health services, administrative support, health regulation services, medical education, and research services are just a few of the 77 smart services that the DHA currently offers across its many platforms. A total of 847,000 people benefited from DHA's services between January and June of this year, which represents a 136,000 increase over the same time in 2022.

Using the 'Sheryan' licencing system, DHA has automated all of the licencing processes for healthcare providers and facilities. Additionally, it introduced the medical tourism membership programme Dubai Health Experience (DXH).

In the meantime, almost four million individuals are presently served by DHA's digital health insurance platform. In the first half of 2023, DHA handled almost 20 million insurance claims, or 109,000 claims every day on average. 

In addition, between January and June 2023, there were around 9 million medical prescriptions that were electronically authorised.In addition, DHA offers residency programmes, specialised medical training in a range of specialisations, and educational possibilities. Dubai's medical education and research programmes have helped almost 60,000 medical professionals thus far.

Additionally, DHA pioneered telemedicine, or online medical treatments. There are 129 medical establishments that provide telemedicine services. A 23 percent increase over the 237,000 consultations in 2021, the number of remote medical consultations in 2022 was estimated to be 293,000. The satisfaction ratings for patients and clinicians were reported to be 92 and 96 percent, respectively.
