Al Ain Zoo will launch the 5th Conservation Festival 2023 under the theme Natures Sustainability on Wednesday

News EventUnder the theme "Nature's Sustainability," Al Ain Zoo will open its 5th Conservation Festival 2023 on Wednesday. The festival will feature a range of events and activities designed to highlight the Zoo's commitment to safeguarding animals and preserving natural resources and riches. The festival runs from the main gate to the exhibition halls, theatres, and adjacent areas of the Zoo, including the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre, as well as well-known eateries and cafés. Students are admitted free of charge for the whole event. It ends on November 12.
Workshops about sustainability and youth futures will be held during the festival, along with professional and amateur art competitions, youth-focused workshops like painting and sculpture, a market for organic products, and a number of stands exhibiting sustainable products and innovations. Regarding animals, a cultural and awareness-building event called "Zookeepers’ Talks" is held when keeper/caregivers discuss the most significant and distinctive features of each animal species, including gibbons, tigers, lemurs, and cheetahs.
