The 6-day Eid Al Adha vacation concludes for many UAE residents, as most return to work on Monday (July 3). The country had a long weekend to commemorate the Islamic festival, lasting from Tuesday, June 27, to Sunday, July 2, with most returning to work today.
The ticket price is an important factor when determining holidays for many UAE travelers. Many residents decided to stay back as the ticket prices were quite high, especially around Eid time, utilizing the time by spending it with family, watching movies, outings, etc. With Eid Al Adha occurring just before the summer holiday in the UAE this year, some locals got their vacation time early.
