A new bridge has been introduced to help ease traffic around one of the city’s most bustling malls and in one of its busiest areas. The 300-meter bridge on Sheikh Zayed Road, offering direct access to the Mall of the Emirates, was officially unveiled. This project marks a key development in the ongoing expansion of the area.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim, the operator of the mall, completed the structure to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion near this popular shopping center.
What used to be a 10-minute drive from Sheikh Zayed Road now takes just one minute for motorists coming from Abu Dhabi. Additionally, those traveling from Umm Suqeim to Mall of the Emirates will experience a reduced journey time, with the trip now taking only eight minutes instead of the previous 15 minutes.
