12th edition Sikka Art and Design Festival; Al Shindagha has transformed into an exciting hub with over 500 local, regional, global creatives and artists

News EventAs it hosts the Sikka Art and Design Festival, Dubai's ancient Al Shindagha quarter has evolved into a bustling centre that attracts artists and art fans from all over the region.
The 12th edition of the festival, which features over 500 local, regional, and international creatives and artists, seeks to offer a cutting-edge platform that unites diverse art forms and celebrates both established and up-and-coming creatives from the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
14 residences are home to more than 100 exhibits, each showcasing a unique creative style and artistic medium.
The event is coming to life, and guests are taking advantage of the colourful attractions. Street food vendors entice gourmets to sample the diverse tastes. "We had planned to explore Dubai's historic neighbourhood outside over the weekend. "We came here, forgot about dinner, and just kept searching for more art," JLT resident Jasim Hamad, a Syrian expat, remarked.
Melodic songs are added to the promenade by an orchestra performance with fifty violinists and other musicians, turning the space into an open concert. The performers capture the audience, drawing them in to this show.
The festival, which offers a wide range of exhibitions, creative works, workshops, talks, and other events to provide guests great cultural experiences, runs till March 3.
