Every summer, Global Village, Dubai's family-friendly attraction, closes because of the intense heat. This year, Sunday, May 11, will mark the park's last day of season 29.
Although Global Village has not yet announced when it will reopen, it usually happens in October when the weather starts to cool off.
The multicultural attraction is open every day from 4 p.m. until midnight on Sundays and Wednesdays, and until 1 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays.
A ticket grants entry to the park, 30 cultural pavilions, the Road of Asia, and an authentic Emirati historical area.
